Can certificates be backdated? ▼

No. They can only be issued for current or future dates, though the doctor can note when your symptoms began.

Can I request a medical certificate for more than 1 day? ▼

Yes. You have the option to choose a single day or multiday medical certificate.

Can I request a clearance certificate to return to work?  ▼

No. A clearance certificate needs to be provided by a doctor who can assess you in person.
